A night to remember.

Lone Star High School’s senior students will have their annual prom on May 2nd at Embassy Suites. This year’s prom dance will be one of the most memorable night for all senior students that will be attending before they leave high school.

“Aside from buying a dress, I am going to get my nails done and try to have a professional hair and makeup done,” Hannah Swayn, 2015, said.

This night will be the night that will keep all the senior students busy. Starting from preparing what to wear, makeup and especially getting their hair done, for most of the girls. For the boys, they just have to look good to impress their dates.

“I personally wouldn’t do it but, it is totally okay for me if a girl was to ask the boy to prom,” Jennifer Alvarez, 2015, said.

Since, it is usual that every senior has a prom date, it is also common to ask who is going with who. Unfortunately, not everybody will have a date on their prom night, so others will decide that they are going to enjoy the night with a group of friends.

“For me, it’s not that important but it’s a very fun tradition for seniors to be look forward to,” Hailey Deres, 2015, said.

Even though, some students did not feel that the prom is important for them to experience this once in a lifetime senior dance night, it is still one of the nights that every high school student looks forward to. This is going to be their night to enjoy and start a new step to success.
