William McNulty adapted the Dracula Play that the Lone Star High School theater department put on, from Bram Stoker’s novel, Dracula.

“My favorite scene was the scene after intermission because it got the most attention, was beautiful and created the mood the play offered,” Tech Director Liz Shurr said.

During this play Shurr focused more on the technical aspects and she wasn’t the only one. Another person who was behind the scenes was Zoya Bakhari, 2018, the make up designer for the show.

“ It made me feel honored that I was able to be a designer and the lead makeup artist as a freshman,” Bakhari said.

Bakhari wasn’t the only one who felt good with the reactive crowd.

“ It is good to get positive reinforcement,” Lauryn Zotz, 2018, the actress who played Dracula’s Bride, said.

Sophomore Alyssa McGuire went to see the production and thought it was good.

“[My favorite scene] was the one where Dracula and the doctor were fighting because it had a lot of action and was interesting.” McGuire said.

The audience members of the Lone Star production of Bram Stoker’s Dracula got something out of the production.

“ It was a fun and new experience for me,” Zotz said.
